Ministries

Every parishioner is called and considered a part of the body of Christ. We contribute and participate in the church's life through our various gifts and talents and thus unite ourselves with Christ, the head.

Eucharistic Ministries
They assist with distributing communion at Eucharistic celebrations. They assist the pastor with administering Communion to the sick and homebound. Eucharistic Ministers are commissioned after completing the required training.
Ushers
The Ushers welcome everyone to Mass and assist with seating and taking up the collections.
Lectors
They proclaim the Scriptures at Mass. The ministry requires scriptural prayer, reflection, and basic speaking skills. Training is provided regularly for members.
Music Ministers
Lead the congregation in song. Music ministry includes Adults and Youth, led by the church music director.
Youth Ministers
They help the young people to grow in a robust relationship with Jesus and with one another.
Altar Servers
These assist the priest at liturgical functions, including Mass and Benediction. We allow young people to serve in this ministry from fourth or fifth grade through high school. Training is provided as needed.
Communion to Shut-ins
Take the Holy Communion to parishioners who are homebound. They may be relatives, neighbors, or parishioners unable to attend mass for health or age reasons.
Gardening
Our Parish is blessed with a beautiful environment that promotes natural beauty. This environment is maintained by various individuals, families, and groups who use their talent to create with flowers.
Altar Angels
These volunteers decorate and enhance the Church’s interior for the various liturgical seasons
Bereavement ministers
They plan funeral liturgies and lead the prayers before the funeral mass.

Advisors
Pastoral Council
They are advisory members of the faith community who meet quarterly to plan for and address the Parish's needs.
Finance Council
They assist the Pastor with the parish's fiscal responsibilities and provide periodic reports to the Pastoral Council.
Trustees
Assist the Parish in its existence as a corporate entity.
