Weekly message

from our Pastor

This Sunday's Gospel invites us to reflect on reconciliation and our responsibility to one another as members of a Christian community. Jesus offers guidance on handling conflict: “If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone.” These words remind us that when we see someone going astray, we are called not to gossip or judge from a distance, but to approach them with honesty and love. The goal is never to embarrass or condemn, but to seek understanding and, if possible, healing. This process is not always easy. It requires the courage to speak up and the humility to listen. Sometimes reconciliation may not happen right away. Jesus outlines a patient, step-by-step approach, always aiming for restoration rather than punishment. He also assures us that when even two or three gather in His name, He is present with them. This is a powerful reminder that Christ is with us in our efforts to love, forgive, and build community.
